Unilever announced a new commitment to 'reduce plastic' by 2025

Unilever has issued a new "plastic reduction" statement to promote the development of circular economy of plastic products. On October 7, Unilever (Unilever), the European consumer goods giant, announced a new "plastic reduction" statement in the hope of reducing the total amount of plastic packaging used by its brands and promoting the development of circular economy of plastic products. In addition, they have also innovated the dyes used in plastic packaging, so that black plastic packaging can be screened out by machines and reused. In No Plastic Program, Unilever launched products such as solid shampoo, cardboard packaging antiperspirant and bamboo wire toothbrush, which reduced the use of plastic packaging in commodities. They also cooperated with Loop, a shopping platform for circular consumer goods, to increase the use of commodity packaging through packaging and distribution mode, and greatly reduce the waste of resources.
