Nearly 800 billion fixed asset projects approved by the national development

On October 21, the national development and Reform Commission held a regular press conference in October, which disclosed that in the third quarter of 2019, the national development and Reform Commission approved a total of 35 fixed asset investment projects with a total investment of 317.2 billion yuan. Based on the mid-year data disclosed by the national development and Reform Commission before, the total investment of the projects approved by the national development and Reform Commission in the first half of 2019 was 471.5 billion yuan, which was reviewed by the national development and Reform Commission in the first three quarters of this year.
The total investment in fixed investment projects is 788.7 billion yuan, an increase of 91 billion yuan over the same period in 2018. The increase in the total amount in 2019 is mainly due to the continuous efforts of the approval speed in the first half of the year. Judging from the third quarter only, the total investment amount of the reviewed fixed investment projects in 2019 is decreased by 120 billion yuan compared with the same period in 2018. In terms of quantity, there are 129 projects reviewed in the first three quarters of 2019 and 147 projects reviewed in the same period of 2018, which means that in terms of average amount of single project, 2019 will be closer to "big project". In terms of investment direction, the investment in transportation field is returning to focus.
According to the statement sequence of the national development and Reform Commission, the investment in the first three quarters of 2018 focuses on the fields of high technology, energy, agricultural water conservancy, social undertakings, etc.; in the first three quarters of 2019, it will return to the fields of transportation and energy. In September, for example, the national development and Reform Commission approved a total of 14 fixed asset investment projects, with a total investment of 177.8 billion yuan, and the projects are mainly concentrated in the transportation industry. The reply on the 4th of this month can The new Chongqing Kunming high-speed railway reported by the bank has a total investment of 141.2 billion yuan. This project is considered to play an important role in promoting the development of the Yangtze River economic belt, strengthening the connection between Chengdu Chongqing urban agglomeration and central Yunnan Urban Agglomeration, and promoting the economic and social development of the areas along the line.
At the same time, according to the data disclosed by the national development and Reform Commission, the investment growth of high-tech manufacturing industry showed a slight correction over the same period of last year: from January to August 2018, the investment in high-tech manufacturing industry increased by 12.9%, and in 2019, the investment in technology manufacturing industry increased by 12.0%. In February this year, the national development and Reform Commission issued a monitoring report on the development trend of fixed asset investment in 2018 and the investment outlook in 2019, in which it is predicted that the growth rate of investment may show the characteristics of high in the first place and low in the second; in terms of main areas, manufacturing and real estate industry will maintain rapid growth and continue to play the leading role of "stable investment". Infrastructure investment is expected to grow at a medium speed, which is the key direction of "stable investment". Investment in medium and high-end manufacturing industry and modern service industry has become the main driving force.
