China's railway network will reach 150000 kilometers by next year

On November 10, at the "2019 Yangtze River Delta rail transit Integration Development Summit Forum", Zhao Changjiang, director of the strategic planning department of the Ministry of development and reform of China National Railway Group Co., Ltd., disclosed in the speech entitled "providing service guarantee for the integration development of Yangtze River Delta by the first act of the transportation powerful Railway", according to China's railway construction and development plan, to 2 In 2020, China's railway network planning will reach 150000 kilometers, including 30000 kilometers of high-speed rail, 75% of the cities with a population of more than 500000 and 80% of the cities with a population of more than 1 million. In his speech, Zhao Changjiang also disclosed that by 2025, China's railway network planning will reach about 17.5km, including 38000km of high-speed rail; by 2030, China's railway network scale will reach about 200000 km, including 45000km of high-speed rail, basically realizing internal and external connectivity, smooth inter regional multi-channel, provincial capital high-speed rail connection, fast city access, and basic county coverage.
For the high-speed railway network, it is planned to build a high-speed railway network with the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway main channel as the skeleton, high-speed railway connecting lines, and Intercity Railway complementing; for the general speed railway network, expand the coverage of the central and Western railway networks, improve the eastern network layout, improve the quality of the existing road network, and promote the connectivity of the surrounding areas. By 2025, the total scale of the general speed railway network will be 131000 public In addition, it is planned to expand the capacity of the existing line and reconstruct about 20000 kilometers; for the comprehensive transportation hub, according to the principle of "passengers inside and goods outside", realize the "zero distance" of passenger transfer, the "seamless" of logistics connection, and the "integration" of transportation services.
According to Zhao Changjiang, after the implementation of the above road network plan, the national railway network will be fully connected to cities with a population of more than 200000, and the high-speed railway network will basically connect provincial capital cities and other large and medium-sized cities with a population of more than 500000, realizing a 1-4-hour traffic circle between adjacent large and medium-sized cities and a 0.5-2-hour traffic circle within the city cluster. He revealed that at present, China Railway Group is carrying out research on railway network planning in the new era and "14th five year plan" railway network planning, and making suggestions for national railway development. Zhao Changjiang also introduced the railway construction in the Yangtze River Delta. He said that the Yangtze River Delta region is one of the fastest growing and best regions in China. By the end of 2018, the regional railway operation mileage was 10673 kilometers, including 4260 kilometers of high-speed rail, with a road network density of 2.98 kilometers / 100 square kilometers, which is 2.2 times the national average level. In terms of transportation services, in 2018, the Yangtze River Delta Regional Railway completed 670 million passengers, accounting for 21.8% of the total regional passenger traffic volume, 241.2 billion passenger kilometers, accounting for 46.4% of the total regional passenger turnover volume; the completed freight volume was 190.26 million tons, accounting for 2% of the total regional social freight volume, and the freight turnover volume was 125.3 billion ton kilometers, accounting for 3.8% of the total regional social turnover volume.
However, he also pointed out that the railway development in the Yangtze River Delta is still unbalanced and inadequate. It is mainly manifested in four aspects: first, the quality and capacity of external channels need to be strengthened, the capacity of some trunk channels is tense (such as Beijing Shanghai, Hangzhou Changsha high speed railway, Beijing Jiulong Railway, etc.), and the technical standards of some channels are not unified (such as Shanghai Wuhan Chengdu Railway channel, etc.); second, the development of inter city and city railway in the region needs to be strengthened; third, the advantages of railway green backbone are not fully played, and the market share of railway transportation is increased The fourth is that the modern logistics system needs to be improved, the level of rail water intermodal transport needs to be improved, and the proportion of rail water intermodal transport along the river is low. Looking forward to the future, Zhao Changjiang said that at present, the railway scale under construction in the Yangtze River Delta is about 3600km. It is expected that 1050km, 1450km and 550km will be put into operation successively from 2019 to 2021. At that time, the road network scale in the region will reach 1370km. "A modern railway infrastructure system will effectively promote the formation of a new pattern of regional coordinated development in the Yangtze River Delta."
In addition, Zhao Changjiang also revealed that in the future, on the basis of improving the service level of passenger transport hubs such as Shanghai Hongqiao, Nanjing South, Hangzhou East and Hefei south, more modern railway passenger transport hubs such as Shanghai East, new Nanjing North, Hangzhou West and new Hefei West will be built to promote the integrated development of stations and cities and give full play to the radiation driving role of railway hub economy. At the same time, according to the requirements of the outline of building a powerful transportation country, we will also carry out technical reserve research on high-speed maglev system with a speed of 600 km / h, high-speed wheel rail passenger train system with a speed of 400 km / h, high-speed train with a low vacuum tunnel, high-speed wheel rail freight train with a speed of 250 km / h. Zhao Changjiang also introduced the achievements of China's railway construction and development. In terms of fixed asset investment, from 2013 to 2018, China Railway completed fixed asset investment of 4.7 trillion yuan, and from 2014 to 2018, it completed fixed asset production of more than 800 billion yuan for five consecutive years. In 2019, the investment in fixed assets of railway will continue to be 800 billion yuan. In terms of road network scale, 34000 kilometers have been completed and put into operation since 2013, including 21000 kilometers of high-speed rail. By the end of 2018, the national railway business mileage has reached 131000 kilometers, ranking the second in the world; the high-speed railway is 30000 kilometers, accounting for 66.8% of the world's high-speed railway; the four vertical and four horizontal high-speed railway network has been completed and put into operation. In terms of electrification rate, it has reached 70.3%, ranking first in the world; double track rate is 58.3%, ranking second in the world; road network density is 136.9 km / 10000 km2. In terms of bus speed, it has increased from 35 kilometers in 1949 to 350 kilometers at present. According to Zhao Changjiang, at present, China's railway network has covered 98% of the urban population of more than 200000 cities, 72% of the urban population of more than 500000 cities and 80% of the urban population of more than 1 million cities.
