By the end of 2019, the national railway business mileage will reach 139,000 km

From November 21 to 22, the science and Technology Innovation Conference of China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. was held in Beijing. The meeting stressed that driven and led by the innovation of Railway Science and technology, China's railway construction and development has made historic achievements and undergone historic changes. China has built the most modern railway network and the most developed high-speed railway network in the world. By the end of this year, the national railway business mileage will reach more than 139000 kilometers, including 35000 kilometers of high-speed railway, ranking first in the world. The quality and efficiency of railway transportation supply have been greatly improved. In 2019, the national railway is expected to complete 3.6 billion passengers, an increase of 92% over 2012. Among them, the EMU is expected to send 2.31 billion passengers, an increase of 3.4 times over 2012. The main indicators of railway transportation rank first in the world. Next, the whole railway should adhere to the use of demand as the traction, and comprehensively improve the level of Railway Science and technology innovation in key areas.
