The railway freight volume has increased by a large margin

In the first 11 months of 2019, China's railway freight volume reached 3.115 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 198 million tons or 6.8%, reaching the highest level this year. China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Railway Group") released the above information on December 11. China Railway Group said that at present, various transport enterprises actively promote and undertake the "public to rail" freight transport, and the railway freight volume has achieved sustained and substantial growth. According to the current good situation of railway freight transportation, it is estimated that in 2018 and 2019, China Railway Group will achieve an accumulative freight increment of 500 million tons, and the target progress of the three-year action plan of exceeding the railway freight increment will be 50 million tons. In November, China Railway completed 306 million tons of goods delivery, an increase of 28.75 million tons or 10.4% year-on-year, the first double-digit growth. The daily loading of the railway has twice refreshed the historical record, with an average daily loading of 167700 vehicles, an increase of 16300 vehicles or 10.8% year on year. In 2019, the railway freight volume continued to increase.

In the first quarter, the first half, the third quarter and the first November, the year-on-year growth rate of national railway freight volume was 2.9%, 5.62%, 6.19% and 6.8% respectively. Compared with the freight growth rate of 8.8% in the first 11 months of 2018, the current freight growth rate is still slightly lower. In terms of the annual plan, China Railway Group will complete 3.368 billion tons of national railway freight in 2019, with a year-on-year growth of 5.58%. In the first 11 months of 2019, the freight volume has completed 92.49% of the annual plan. "There's no suspense about overfulfilling the annual freight plan." In 2019, the railway continued to increase the supply of transportation capacity, and the railway transportation of ore in Beijing Tianjin Hebei region increased by 5.2 percentage points compared with that in 2017. Take Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and 8 surrounding provinces and cities as an example. From 2018 to 2019, the traffic volume of "transit railway" will reach about 300 million tons. Meanwhile, the "last kilometer" of railway will be opened. Since 2018, 95 key special lines have been put into operation. China Railway Corporation, the predecessor of China Railway Group, issued the action plan for freight increment in 2018-2020 in July 2018, which shows that by 2020, the freight volume of national railway will increase by 30% compared with that in 2017, that is to say, it will reach 4.796 billion tons. Among them, coal transportation has become the top priority, accounting for nearly 60% of the total freight volume, reaching 2.81 billion tons, accounting for 75% of the national coal production, and the proportion of bulk cargo volume in the total railway freight volume has remained stable at more than 90%. As a barometer of China's railway coal heavy load transportation, Daqin Railway completed 396 million tons of goods transportation in November 2019, a year-on-year decrease of 4.15%. In November, Daqin Railway completed 35.41 million tons of goods transportation, a year-on-year decrease of 7.95% and daily average transportation volume of 1.183 million tons. There are 82.3 Heavy Trains per day on Daqin line, of which 55.8 are 20000 ton trains per day.
