The power plant is about to enter the stage of destocking

This week's market overview this week, the production of some coal mines in the main production area was basically normal, inventory fell, coupled with the impact of the mine disaster, some coal mines began to stop falling and rising. Spot trading in the port is not much, high calorie coal stabilized, and medium and low calorie coal rose slightly. In terms of the study and determination of the production area, the emergency management department has made safety tips for the recent safety production accidents in two coal mines in Pingyao, ermugou and Liangbaosi. It requires all regions and coal enterprises to strictly follow the regulations in production, strengthen law enforcement and inspection, and prevent and contain major accidents in coal mines. At the same time, as the temperature drops, the heating coal consumption of power plant will continue to increase. It is expected that the supply will be slightly tightened and the demand will be slightly improved next week. The power plant is about to enter the stage of destocking, which will support the price of pithead. In terms of ports, as the temperature in coastal areas drops and the demand for heating power of residents increases, the daily consumption of six major coastal power groups will further increase. However, at present, the inventory of power plants is still at a relatively high level. In addition, at the end of the month, the power plants will take the long-term cooperative coal as the main way to ensure the fulfillment rate of long-term cooperative coal. Therefore, the increasing daily consumption may not significantly boost the spot stock. It is expected that the spot trading at the port will continue to be depressed next week, with weak price shocks.
