Yarn Output in Xinjiang May Hit New High in 2017
According to statistics from the State Statistics Bureau, yarn production amounted to 1,210kt in Jan-Oct, 2017, up by 130kt compared with the total volume in 2016 and up 44% y-o-y. Yarn output in Xinjiang may hit new high in 2017, according to related report.
It was reported that in 2014-2016, the fixed investment in textile and apparel industry in Xinjiang totaled 89.4 billion Yuan, and that may be not less than 72 billion Yuan this year.
