Acute pancreatitis (AP) is a relatively common acute abdomen, and its incidence ranks third to fifth among acute abdomens. More than 80% of patients have mild symptoms, namely acute edematous pancreatitis, which can be cured by non-surgical means and is basically a medical disease. About 10% of patients have severe pancreatitis, namely acute hemorrhagic necrotizing pancreatitis. The inflammation of the pancreas is no longer reversible or self-limiting, and often requires surgical treatment. It should be regarded as a surgical disease. Due to the in-depth understanding of acute pancreatitis, the diagnostic technology and treatment methods have been greatly developed, and it has become a very interesting issue for surgeons. At the same time, the mortality rate remains high, reaching 30% to 60%, and various serious complications are prone to occur, which is a severe challenge for doctors.
