Gastric polyps
Gastric polyps refer to papillary protrusions on the surface of the gastric mucosa. There may be no obvious symptoms in the early stage. They are usually discovered accidentally during gastrointestinal barium meal radiography, gastroscopy or surgery for other reasons. The name polyp does not indicate its cause or histological structure, but only refers to the protrusions observed with the naked eye.
