Streptococcal infection
Diseases caused by Streptococcus bacteria invading the human body. There are two categories: one is infectious diseases, such as acute tonsillitis, pyoderma, pneumonia, etc.; the other is allergic diseases, such as acute glomerulonephritis. Streptococcal infections are common diseases in humans, not only all over the world, but also in all seasons. Streptococcus pneumoniae, formerly known as Diplococcus pneumoniae, exists in the mouth, nose, and pharynx of normal humans. It causes disease when the body's resistance is reduced, mainly causing lobar pneumonia.

Indication: Penicillin is suitable for various infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as abscesses, bacteremia, pneumonia and endocarditis. Among them, penicillin is the first choice for the following infections: 1. Hemolytic streptococcal infections, such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, scarlet fever, erysipelas, cellulitis and puerperal fever. 2. Pneumococcal infections such as pneumonia, otitis media, meningitis and bacteremia. 3. Non-penicillinase-producing staphylococcal infections. 4. Anthrax. 5. Clostridium infections such as tetanus and gas gangrene. 6. Syphilis (including congenital syphilis). 7. Leptospirosis

Cefprozil Granules
Indication: For the following mild and moderate infections caused by sensitive bacteria. Upper respiratory tract infection Streptococcus pyogenes pharyngitis/tonsillitis. Note: Intramuscular penicillin should usually be selected for the treatment and prevention of streptococcal infections (including the prevention of rheumatic fever). Although cefprozil can generally effectively eliminate Streptococcus pyogenes in the nasopharynx, there is currently no reference data on the use of cefprozil in the prevention of secondary rheumatic fever. Otitis media caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae (including β-lactamase-producing strains) and Moraxella catarrhalis (including β-lactamase-producing strains). Acute sinusitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae (including β-lactamase-producing strains) and Moraxella catarrhalis (including β-lactamase-producing strains). Lower respiratory tract infection Acute bronchitis secondary to bacterial infection and acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae (including β-lactamase-producing strains) and Moraxella catarrhalis (including β-lactamase-producing strains). Skin and skin tissue infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillinase-producing strains) and Streptococcus pyogenes are uncomplicated, but abscesses usually require surgical drainage. Bacterial culture and susceptibility testing should be performed to determine the susceptibility of the pathogen to cefprozil when appropriate.

Cefprozil Granules
Indication: For the following mild and moderate infections caused by sensitive bacteria. Upper respiratory tract infection, Streptococcus pyogenes pharyngitis/tonsillitis, Note: Intramuscular penicillin should be selected for the usual treatment and prevention of streptococcal infections (including prevention of rheumatic fever. Although cefoperazone can generally effectively eliminate Streptococcus pyogenes in the nasopharynx, there is currently no data available for reference on the use of cefoperazone to prevent secondary rheumatic fever. Otitis media caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae (including β-lactamase-producing strains) and Moraxella catarrhalis (including β-lactamase-producing strains). Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae (including β-lactamase-producing strains) and Moraxella catarrhalis (including β-lactamase-producing strains). Acute sinusitis caused by β-lactamase-producing strains. Lower respiratory tract infections Secondary bacterial infection of acute bronchitis and acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae (including β-lactamase-producing strains) and Moraxella catarrhalis (including β-lactamase-producing strains). Skin and skin tissue infections Uncomplicated skin and skin tissue infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillinase-producing strains) and Streptococcus pyogenes, but abscesses usually require surgical drainage. Bacterial culture and drug sensitivity testing should be performed when appropriate to determine the sensitivity of the pathogen to cefuroxime.
