Hereditary breast-ovarian cancer syndrome
In a family with a tendency to hereditary breast cancer, if there are two or more ovarian cancer patients among the breast cancer patient or their first or second degree blood relatives, then this family belongs to the hereditary breast cancer-ovarian cancer syndrome family. In 1992, three clear hereditary ovarian cancer syndromes were defined: ① Hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer syndrome (i.e. Lynch type II). ② Genetic locus-specific ovarian cancer syndrome. ③ Hereditary breast cancer-ovarian cancer syndrome. The latter is the most common of the three syndromes.
