Brenneman syndrome
Brenneman syndrome was first reported by Brenneman in 1921. It is also known as throat viral infection with mesenteric and retroperitoneal lymphadenitis; mesenteric lymphadenitis. It refers to acute mesenteric lymphadenitis in the ileum and large intestine caused by upper respiratory tract infection.
