The camphor contained in this product can promote local skin blood circulation and relieve pain and itching. The boric acid contained in this product has mild antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.

It has high antibacterial activity against aerobic Gram-positive bacteria, such as Staphylococcus (including penicillin-resistant strains), Streptococcus, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Bacillus anthracis, etc. It also has good antibacterial activity against Gram-negative anaerobic bacteria, and Bacteroides, including Bacteroides fragilis and Fusobacterium, are highly sensitive. It acts on the 50S subunit of the ribosome of sensitive bacteria, preventing the extension of the peptide chain, thereby inhibiting the protein synthesis of bacterial cells. It also has a bactericidal effect on highly sensitive bacteria at high concentrations.
