Lincomycin Hydrochloride Ointment
Function and Efficacy
This product has high antibacterial activity against aerobic Gram-positive bacteria, such as Staphylococcus (including penicillin-resistant strains), Streptococcus, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Bacillus anthracis, etc. It also has good antibacterial activity against Gram-negative anaerobic bacteria. Bacteroides, including Bacteroides fragilis and Fusobacterium, are highly sensitive. This product acts on the 50S subunit of the ribosome of sensitive bacteria, preventing the extension of the peptide chain, thereby inhibiting the protein synthesis of bacterial cells. This product is an antibacterial agent and has a bactericidal effect on highly sensitive bacteria at high concentrations.
