Function and Efficacy
Ketoconazole is an antifungal drug that has inhibitory effects on dermatophytes such as Trichophyton, Epidermophyton, Microsporum, and yeasts such as Candida. It is hardly absorbed through the skin when applied topically.
Ingredients
This product contains ketoconazole as the main ingredient and stearic acid, white vaseline, glyceryl monostearate and preservative (ethyl hydroxybenzoate) as auxiliary materials.

Appearance
This product is a milky white or slightly reddish ointment with an emulsion base.
Indication
Used for tinea manuum, tinea pedis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea versicolor and skin candidiasis.
Usage and Dosage
For topical use, apply an appropriate amount of this product to the affected area, 2 to 3 times a day. To reduce recurrence, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea versicolor and skin candidiasis should be used continuously for 2 to 4 weeks, and tinea manuum and pedis should be used continuously for 4 to 6 weeks.
Adverse Reactions
Tingling or other local irritation symptoms may be seen, and occasionally allergic reactions such as itching may occur. In rare cases, allergic reactions such as burning sensation, skin irritation, and local eczema may occur. In very rare cases, allergic reactions, rash, urticaria, itching, skin redness and swelling, and other local skin reactions may occur.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to ketoconazole, imidazole drugs or sulfites, or to any component of this product.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Children must use under adult supervision. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant and lactating women should use with caution. Precautions for the elderly: Not yet clear.
