Norgestrel Compound Tablets

The norgestrel in this product can prevent the implantation of the fertilized egg and increase the viscosity of the cervical mucus to prevent sperm penetration; ethinyl estradiol can inhibit the secretion of gonadotropin, thereby inhibiting ovarian ovulation. The combination of the two ingredients can not only enhance the contraceptive effect, but also reduce adverse reactions.

This product is a compound preparation, each tablet contains 0.3 mg of norgestrel and 0.03 mg of ethinyl estradiol.

This product is a sugar-coated tablet or a film-coated tablet.

For oral contraception in women.

Oral administration. Start taking the medicine from the 5th day of the menstrual cycle, 1 tablet a day, for 22 consecutive days. After taking it, wait until the 5th day after the next menstrual period to repeat the medicine.

1. Pregnancy-like reactions: nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, and lack of appetite. 2. Breakthrough bleeding (mostly occurs when a dose is missed, and 0.01 mg of ethinyl estradiol can be taken every night if necessary), amenorrhea. 3. Mental depression, headache, fatigue, weight gain, and facial pigmentation. 4. Liver damage or increased relative risk of benign liver adenoma. 5. Women who smoke over 35 years old who take this product have an increased risk of ischemic heart disease. 6. May cause hypertension. 7. Occasionally allergic reactions.

It should not be used in the following situations: breast cancer, reproductive organ cancer, irregular vaginal bleeding, abnormal liver function or recent history of liver disease or jaundice, deep vein thrombosis, cerebrovascular accident, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, depression and women over 40 years old.

1. Drugs that can reduce the contraceptive effect of this product include: antibacterial drugs, especially oral broad-spectrum antibacterial drugs; drug enzyme inducers, such as rifampicin, phenobarbital, phenytoin sodium, etc., which should be avoided at the same time. 2. This product can weaken the efficacy of antihypertensive drugs, anticoagulants and hypoglycemic drugs. 3. This product can enhance the efficacy of tricyclic antidepressants. 4.
