Indication

This product is suitable for adult patients with all stages of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) who are resistant or intolerant to treatment regimens including imatinib mesylate.

Usage and Dosage

Oral chronic myeloid leukemia in chronic stage: 100 mg, once a day, can be increased to 140 mg, once a day. Progressive chronic myeloid or lymphocytic leukemia or Ph chromosome positive (Ph+) acute lymphoblastic leukemia: initial dose: 70 mg, can be increased to 100 mg.

Adverse Reactions

The most common adverse reactions of this product include fluid retention (pleural effusion), gastrointestinal reactions (including diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain and vomiting) and bleeding events. The most common serious adverse reactions include fever (9%), pleural effusion (6%), pneumonia (6%), thrombocytopenia (5%), febrile neutropenia (7%), gastrointestinal bleeding (6%), thrombocytopenia (5%), dyspnea (4%), anemia (3%) and diarrhea (2%).

Precautions

It is contraindicated for pregnant women.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: Due to the lack of safety and efficacy data, dasatinib tablets are not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Contraindicated for pregnant women. Precautions for the elderly: No clinically significant age-related pharmacokinetic differences were observed in elderly patients. No special dosage recommendations are necessary for elderly patients. Although the safety profile of dasatinib tablets in elderly patients is similar to that in younger patients, patients aged ≥ 65 years are more likely to experience fluid retention and dyspnea and should be closely observed.

Drug Interactions

Azole antifungals, macrolide antibiotics, HIV-protease inhibitors or nefazodone can increase the plasma concentration of this drug. Carbamazepine, dexamethasone, phenobarbital, phenytoin, rifampicin, antacids and proton pump inhibitors can reduce the plasma concentration of this drug.

Keep in a light-proof, sealed container and stored at room temperature (10-30°C).
