Posterior pituitary injection has a strong contraction effect on smooth muscle, especially on blood vessels and the base of the uterus. This product is a sterile solution prepared by dehydrating, drying, grinding the posterior pituitary gland of pigs, sheep, cattle and other animals and adding dilute acetic acid.

This product is a colorless, clear or almost clear liquid.

1. It can be used for postpartum hemorrhage, postpartum involution, promoting uterine contraction and inducing labor. 2. Treating diabetes insipidus. 3. Treating pulmonary hemoptysis and gastrointestinal bleeding caused by portal hypertension. 4. Treating postoperative intestinal paralysis and urinary retention.

1. General application: intramuscular injection: 5-10 units each time. The maximum dose is 20 units each time. 2. Pulmonary hemorrhage: can be injected intravenously or dripped intravenously. For intravenous drip, add isotonic saline or 5% glucose 500ml to dilute and drip slowly. For intravenous injection, add 5% glucose 20ml to dilute and inject slowly. For massive pulmonary hemoptysis, inject 10 units intravenously. 3. For postpartum hemorrhage: must be injected intramuscularly after the fetus and placenta have been delivered. For preventive application, 10 units can be injected intravenously immediately after the fetus's front shoulder is delivered. 4. For those with abnormal relaxation of labor contractions: occasionally used to induce labor, but it should be used with caution. Dilute with 5% glucose solution 500ml and drip slowly, and observe closely.

After taking the medicine, if you experience pale complexion, sweating, palpitations, chest tightness, abdominal pain, anaphylactic shock, etc., you should stop taking the medicine immediately.

This product is not suitable for patients with nephritis, myocarditis, vascular sclerosis, narrow pelvis, twins, polyhydramnios, excessive uterine expansion, etc. It is also not suitable for patients with cervical dilation that has not yet fully expanded. It should be used with caution in patients with hypertension and coronary artery disease.

Enflurane concentration >3.0% can eliminate the reaction and may cause uterine bleeding. 2.
