This product is a nutritional medicine. Sodium glycerophosphate is an intravenous phosphorus supplement used to meet the body's daily phosphorus needs. Phosphorus is involved in bone formation and in the composition of cell membranes in the form of phospholipids. Appearance
This product is a colorless or almost colorless clear liquid.
Indication
1. Phosphorus supplement for adult intravenous nutrition. 2. Phosphorus deficiency patients.
Usage and Dosage
The daily dosage of this product is usually 10ml (containing 2.16g of anhydrous sodium glycerophosphate, equivalent to 10mmol of phosphorus and 20mmol of sodium). For patients receiving intravenous nutrition therapy, the dosage should be increased or decreased according to the actual needs of the patient. When administered through a peripheral vein, 10ml of this product can be added to 500ml of compound amino acid injection or 5%, 10% glucose injection, and slowly dripped within 4 to 6 hours. Dilution should be carried out under sterile conditions and should be used up within 24 hours after dilution to avoid contamination.
Adverse Reactions
Long-term use of the drug can cause changes in blood phosphorus and calcium concentrations.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with severe renal insufficiency, shock and dehydration. It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to this product. This product is a hypertonic solution and should be added to intravenous nutrient solution or 5% to 10% glucose injection and slowly infused within 4 to 6 hours. This product should be diluted under sterile conditions and used up within 24 hours after dilution to avoid contamination.
