Function and Efficacy

This product is an oral electrolyte supplement composed of sodium citrate, potassium citrate, sodium chloride and glucose, which can be used to replenish water and electrolyte losses caused by vomiting or diarrhea.

Appearance

This product is a colorless, clear liquid with an aromatic odor and a salty-sweet taste.

Indication

1. Used to quickly replenish water and electrolyte loss due to diarrhea or vomiting (body fluid loss does not exceed 5-8%). 2. Can be used to maintain water and electrolyte balance after diarrhea is corrected by extra-intestinal fluid rehydration.

Usage and Dosage

For children under 12 years old with mild dehydration, take 50 ml/kg; for children with moderate dehydration, take 100 ml/kg in divided doses within 4 to 6 hours.

Adverse Reactions

There are few adverse reactions. Occasionally, there is nausea and vomiting, which are mostly mild and often occur at the beginning of taking the drug.

Precautions

The following patients are contraindicated: 1. Those with severe dehydration and signs of shock; 2. Those with severe heart and kidney failure; 3. Those with intestinal obstruction, intestinal paralysis and intestinal perforation.

Storage

Keep in a sealed container. The validity period is tentatively set at two years.
