Gastrointestinal analgesic effect: This product can also activate peripheral and K opioid receptors to release gastrointestinal peptides such as motilin, vasoactive peptide and gastrin, thereby inhibiting visceral nerve reflexes, blocking gastrointestinal afferent nerves, reducing the effects of peripheral noxious stimuli on the central nervous system, increasing the visceral pain threshold under pathophysiological conditions, and alleviating abdominal pain symptoms; 3. Appearance is white crystal or crystalline powder, odorless, bitter taste. Very soluble in formic acid, easily soluble in glacial acetic acid and chloroform, soluble in methanol and acetonitrile, and hardly soluble in water.

It is used to improve symptoms such as loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, belching, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, etc. caused by gastrointestinal dysfunction. It can also be used for irritable bowel syndrome.

For adults, take orally, 0.1-0.2 g each time, 3 times a day. The dosage can be appropriately increased or decreased according to age and symptoms, or as directed by a doctor.

Occasionally, there may be thirst, numbness in the mouth, abdominal borborygmi, abdominal distension, constipation, tachycardia, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, rash, increased aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase, etc., with an incidence of about 0.4%.

It is contraindicated in patients allergic to trimebutine maleate.
