Function and Efficacy

Aspirin in this product can inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins and has antipyretic and analgesic effects; vitamin C can enhance the body's resistance. This product disintegrates and is absorbed in the small intestine, with minimal irritation to the stomach.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains 250 mg of aspirin and 25 mg of vitamin C. Excipients include starch, magnesium stearate, acrylic resin II, acrylic resin III, diethyl phthalate, Tween 80, and ethanol.

Appearance

This product is an enteric-coated tablet, which appears white or slightly yellowish after removing the enteric coating.

Indication

It is used to treat fever caused by the common cold or influenza, and is also used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as headache, joint pain, migraine, toothache, muscle pain, neuralgia, and dysmenorrhea.

Usage and Dosage

Oral administration: Adults, 2 tablets at a time, 3 times a day.

Adverse Reactions

1 Common gastrointestinal reactions include nausea, vomiting, upper abdominal discomfort or pain. 2 Less common or rare reactions include: 1. Gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers, manifested as bloody or tarry stools, severe stomach pain or vomiting of bloody or coffee-like substances, which are more common in patients taking large doses of the drug. 2. Bronchospasm allergic reactions, manifested as dyspnea or asthma. 3. Skin allergic reactions, manifested as rash, urticaria, itchy skin, etc. 4. Hematuria, dizziness and liver damage.

Precautions

1 Pregnant women and lactating women are prohibited from using this product. 2 People with asthma, nasal polyposis syndrome, and those who are allergic to aspirin and other antipyretic analgesics are prohibited from using this product. 3 People with hemophilia, thrombocytopenia, or active ulcer disease are prohibited from using this product.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: Pediatric patients, especially those with fever and dehydration, are prone to toxic reactions. The use of this product in children with acute febrile diseases, especially influenza and chickenpox, may be associated with the occurrence of Reye’s syndrome, which is still rare. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: This product easily passes through the placenta. There are reports of fetal defects after the use of this product. Long-term and large-scale use of this product in the third month after pregnancy can prolong the pregnancy period and increase the risk of post-term labor syndrome and antepartum hemorrhage; use in the last two weeks of pregnancy can increase the risk of fetal hemorrhage or neonatal hemorrhage; long-term use of the drug in the third trimester of pregnancy may also cause the fetal arterial ductus to contract or close early, leading to persistent pulmonary hypertension and heart failure in the newborn. The above adverse reactions have not been found when using general therapeutic doses. This product can be excreted in breast milk, and infants may have adverse reactions when taking it for a long time and in large doses. Precautions for the elderly: Use with caution. Elderly patients are prone to adverse reactions when taking this product due to decreased renal function.

Drug Interactions

1 This product should not be used with anticoagulants (such as dicoumarol, heparin) and thrombolytic drugs (streptokinase). 2 Antacids such as sodium bicarbonate can increase the excretion of this product in urine, causing a decrease in blood drug concentration, and should not be used together. 3 This product can increase gastrointestinal adverse reactions when used with glucocorticoids (such as dexamethasone, etc.). 4 This product can enhance the effects of oral hypoglycemic drugs and methotrexate, and should not be used together. 5 If used with other drugs at the same time, drug interactions may occur.
