Function and Efficacy
This product is a complex of diphenhydramine and aminophylline. It has antihistamine effects, can inhibit vascular exudation, reduce tissue edema, and has sedative and antiemetic effects. After oral administration, this product is rapidly and completely absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. This product has only a weak antibacterial effect on bacteria, but is effective against intestinal infections caused by Shigella dysenteriae and Escherichia coli.

The berberine hydrochloride (C20H18ClNO4.2H2O) contained in this product should be 93.0% to 107.0% of the labeled amount.

Appearance

Indication
Used for intestinal infections such as gastroenteritis.
Usage and Dosage

Adverse Reactions
1. Common adverse reactions include: dullness, drowsiness, lack of concentration, fatigue, dizziness, and gastrointestinal discomfort. 2. Rare: hallucinations, decreased vision, difficulty urinating, rash, etc.
Precautions
It is contraindicated in patients with hemolytic anemia and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Children must use under adult supervision. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Use with caution during the first 3 months of pregnancy. Precautions for the elderly: Not yet clear.
Drug Interactions
1. When Chinese medicine containing tannin is used together with berberine, since tannin is an alkaloid precipitant, the two combine to form insoluble tannate precipitation, which reduces the efficacy. 2.
