Vildagliptin is a hypoglycemic drug that can promote insulin secretion and lower blood sugar. Suitable for patients with type 2 diabetes, vildagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor with enzymatic activity and reduces the activity of glucagon-like peptide 1.
