    Propane, is an organic compound, chemical formula CH3CH2CH3, is a colorless and odorless gas, slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether, chemical stability, not easy to chemical reaction, commonly used as refrigerant, internal combustion engine fuel or organic synthesis raw materials.

    High-purity propane is mainly used as organic chemical raw materials, chemical solvents, electronic semiconductors and refrigerants.
    As a refrigerant, R290 has no damage to the ozone layer and has a very small greenhouse effect. It is an environmentally friendly material. R290 has no restrictions on the installation, use and maintenance of refrigerant equipment. Used in central air conditioners, heat pump air conditioners, household air conditioners and other small refrigeration equipment, replacing HCFC-22.

    1. Applications:

    The largest use of propane is as liquefied petroleum gas with butane, which is used primarily as fuel. Propane is also an important feedstock for cracking ethylene. In addition, propane is widely used as a refrigerant in oil refining, chemical and natural gas processing operations

    ⑥It is widely used as a refrigerant in oil refining, chemical and natural gas processing operations. 
    ⑦Used as a lubricating oil distillate deasphalting solvent, asphalt insoluble in liquid propane, propane extraction, asphalt as extraction residue is removed, and then from the distillation of the asphalt will evaporate the propane and leave the lubricating oil. 
    ⑧Dewaxing solvent: almost insoluble in liquefied propane. When liquid propane evaporates, about 418680kJ/kg of evaporation heat can be obtained. Using these two characteristics, the propane is partially evaporated from the lubricating oil propane solution, and the resulting low temperature precipitates the wax in the raw oil and dewaxes by self-cooling method. 
    Perchloroethylene and carbon tetrachloride can be obtained by chlorination of propane. 
    ⑩ A new process for making acrylonitrile from propane has been developed.
