In the textile industry, the coloring salt used as a blue dye can also act as an alkali absorbent in black solutions; it can also be used as a fire retardant for cement, a filler for paper production, and a weighting agent for textiles. As a neutral desiccant, due to its fast water absorption and stable properties, it can replace anhydrous calcium chloride. In feed additives, it is used to supplement magnesium, promoting bone development and enzyme activation.
