    Isopropyl Alcohol (commonly abbreviated as IPA, systematically named 2-Propanol) is one of the most widely used low-boiling secondary alcohol solvents in industry and laboratories. It is a colorless, flammable liquid with an odor resembling a mixture of ethanol and acetone. It is extensively applied in electronic cleaning, disinfection, extraction, and organic synthesis.
