Methods of Manufacturing

The cinnamyl alcohol is brominated with phosphorus tribromide in the presence of pyridine to generate cinnamyl bromide, which is then co-thermally amination with amphetamine. After the reaction, hydrochloric acid is added to precipitate crystals.
