Evonik will present a number of worldpremiere products at the 5th China Import Expo, focusing on sustainabledevelopment
After years of development, the Expo has become a platform for companiesto showcase new products, technologies and services, providing an opportunityfor international companies to actively participate in the high-qualitydevelopment of the Chinese market. Since its participation in the first Expo in2018, Evonik has established long-term and in-depth relationships with many customersand continues to bring innovative solutions to various industries. This year,under the theme of "Focus on Sustainability, Create a Green Future",Evonik will showcase a series of innovative, environmentally friendly andsustainable material solutions tailored to local conditions, covering a widerange of applications such as transportation, consumer goods, animal nutritionand urban construction. In addition, Evonik will showcase a series of energysaving and emission reduction demonstration projects in various productionsites.
During the Fair, Evonik will focus on launching a series of innovativeproducts, of which more than 10 will be launched globally or in China,including lithium-ion battery materials focusing on electric vehicles, new biomaterialsfor medical and health applications, sustainable polymers for consumer goodsmanufacturing, and functional additives for building protection, in order topromote business growth and sustainable development in various industries.
It is worth mentioning that Evonik will release the "Evonik ChinaSustainability Practice Report" at this year's Expo, which is also thefirst time for the company to release a sustainability report in China. Thereport covers a range of Evonik's sustainability practices in China in recentyears, covering products and solutions, production and operations, employeedevelopment and social engagement. It aims to help partners understand thelatest local sustainability practices of the company and to improve the disclosureof local sustainability information.
