To accurately prevent and control major safety risks in the field of hazardous chemicals and ensure sustainable and stable production safety, the Ministry of Emergency Management recently launched the second ministerial-level supervision and inspection of major hazardous chemical source enterprises in 2022.

 

In accordance with the regular safety control system for major hazardous chemical sources, the Ministry of Emergency Management deployed the second special inspection and supervision of major hazardous chemical sources in 2022 in September this year, and continued to strengthen the safety risk control of major hazardous chemical sources through self-inspection by enterprises, cross-inspection at the municipal level, random inspection at the provincial level, and supervision and verification at the ministerial level.

 

The ministerial supervision and verification, the Department of Emergency Management sent 8 working groups, divided into three batches to go deep into the local grassroots and major hazard source enterprise site, a comprehensive inspection of the relevant enterprises and local work results, and urged the relevant areas and enterprises to strengthen the opening and parking, inspection and maintenance, special operation safety management, the implementation of anti-freezing, anti-coagulation and anti-leakage measures, effectively do a good job in winter production safety work.

 

Supervision and verification will intensify the reporting of major hidden dangers and prominent problems, effectively consolidate responsibilities, and strengthen rectification of hidden dangers. Violations of laws and regulations discovered will be investigated and dealt with in accordance with the law, and serious efforts will be made to curb serious and serious accidents involving hazardous chemicals and those with a large impact.
