A new outbreak of rabies in Melilla

According to the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), on November 21, 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture of Melilla notified WOAH that there was a rabies outbreak in Melilla.

 
The outbreak occurred in the city of Melilla and was confirmed on 15 November 2022 as the introduction of new live animals. Laboratory tests found that 1 dog became ill and died.
 
Now that the outbreak is over, the Ministry of Agriculture of Melilla will no longer submit any reports.
