Nippon Paint Henan Plant to be determined as a provincial green plant

Recently, the Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of the fifth batch of green manufacturing evaluation results. It is proposed to recommend 30 national green factories, 3 parks, 9 green supply chain enterprises, and 25 green design products. 53 companies. Among them, Nippon Paint (Henan) Co., Ltd. is planned to be a provincial green factory in Henan.

According to the "General Rules for Evaluation of Green Factories" promulgated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, green factories refer to factories that achieve intensive land use, clean production, waste recycling, and low-carbon energy. Green factories, together with green products, green parks and green supply chains, constitute an important part of the green manufacturing system, and are an important way to promote the optimization of industrial structures in various industries, upgrade from difficulties and improve quality and efficiency.

Nippon Paint's Henan factory is a digital green benchmarking factory built by Nippon in accordance with the concept of "Intelligent Manufacturing·Industry 4.0" and is an important measure for Nippon to accelerate the long-term strategic layout of the Central Plains regional market. According to the new environmental protection requirements, the plant adopted a fully automated closed production mode.

The Nippon Paints Henan plant opened last year. The project was constructed in multiple phases. Not long ago this year, a 200,000-ton annual stone texture coating project and an 50,000-ton environmentally friendly household coating series product project were opened. According to the previously disclosed information, the total investment of the project is 860 million yuan, with an annual output of 600,000 tons of architectural coatings. After all projects are completed and put into production, the annual sales income can reach 6 billion yuan.

Kaifeng City Science and Technology Bureau recently announced that in the first batch of 2020 municipal engineering technology research center supplementary acceptance list, a total of 5 centers are listed, of which the relying unit is Libon Coatings (Henan) Co., Ltd.’s “Kaifeng Polymer Coating Engineering "Technical Research Center" is listed.
