Ashland raw material ethylcellulose, won the PCHi Fountain Award
Fountain Awards at the China International Cosmetics, Personal and Home Care Products Exhibition (PCHi)
At the Cloud Festival, Ashland's Antaron™ ECo ethyl cellulose won the Green Sustainability Award.
The raw material stood out from 122 products of 79 companies worldwide and won this award. In addition, Ashland Rosaliss™ biofunctional raw materials have also been nominated for the anti-aging category award.
Nowadays, consumers increasingly prefer natural personal care products and beauty products. Behind every choice is the pursuit of a sustainable lifestyle. Ashland stated that Antaron™ ECo Ethylcellulose fully meets consumers' expectations and needs. The raw material has been certified by the US Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) to achieve zero deforestation and use a water-based manufacturing process to minimize the use of solvents. At the same time, it complies with global (including Australia, Canada and China) regulations and has passed Halal and Jewish certifications.
Antaron™ ECo ethylcellulose is not only used globally, but in most formulations, only a low amount of 0.5% is needed to impart high water resistance. Not only this, the raw material can be compatible with most oil esters and organic ultraviolet filters (oil-soluble), and has a wide range of pH applications. It is suitable for oil-in-water (O/W) and water-in-oil (W/O) Emulsion, anhydrous gel and spray etc.
Including Antaron™ Eco, Ashland’s cellulose products are derived from cotton and wood. The natural substance content can be up to 85%. It is a natural ingredient option for formulators. It is a thickening, rheological modification, Excellent solution for film forming and other functions.
