Jiangsu's chemical industry achieved positive profit growth in June
According to the news from the Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Statistics on August 10, the latest statistical data in the monthly industrial benefit report showed that in June, the benefit of the chemical industry in Jiangsu Province rebounded significantly, the growth rate turned from negative to positive, and the cumulative decline in industry profits continued to narrow.
In June, the chemical industry in Jiangsu Province achieved a profit of 5.06 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 27.1%. It turned from a 11.1% decline in May to growth. The growth rate has rebounded significantly, which is the first time this year.
The obvious improvement in the growth rate of the chemical industry was mainly due to the decline in unit costs. In June, the cost per hundred yuan of operating income in the chemical industry was 79.2 yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 3.6 yuan, and a decrease of 3.7 yuan from May, which was lower than the provincial average of industrial units above designated size. The cost is 4.4 yuan.
In the first half of the year, Jiangsu’s chemical industry achieved a total profit of 19.89 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 34.9%, which was 9.3, 18.6, and 27.3 percentage points lower than that of January-May, January-April, and January-March, respectively. The cumulative profit fell. Continue to narrow.
