The United States updates compliance documents for the Uniform Food Labeling Compliance Date
On January 3, 2023, the Federal Register published Notification 2022-27902, in which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) updated the Uniform Food Labeling Compliance Dates document to address new food labeling regulations issued between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2024 The compliance date is unified to January 1, 2026. FDA regularly publishes uniform compliance dates for new food labeling regulations to minimize the economic impact of labeling changes.
