Isopropanol rose for 5 consecutive days, rising by RMB 1,000/ton in 8 days
On August 25, the quotation of Jiangsu Zhonghu isopropanol was raised by 100-200 CNY/ton to 8,200-8300 CNY/ton. Previously, on the 21st, the quotation of Jiangsu Zhonghu isopropanol was raised by 400 CNY/ton to 8,100 CNY/ton. On the 20th, the quotation of isopropanol was raised by 200 CNY/ton. On the 19th, the quotation was raised by RMB 100/ton. On the 18th, it raised RMB 100/ton. It rose by 900-1000 CNY/ton in 8 days, and it rose by 5 rounds.
As a direct downstream product of propylene, isopropanol is significantly affected by international crude oil. In addition, affected by overseas demand, many factories have closed orders but did not report. Foreign trade orders are the main ones. Jiangsu Zhonghu Chemical Co., Ltd. has a tight spot. The price of isopropanol has been raised. The actual order will be discussed in detail.
02
Sulfur rose for 4 consecutive years, a cumulative increase of 170 CNY/ton
On the 25th, Sinopec’s solid sulfur in East China increased by RMB 70/ton and liquid sulfur by RMB 40/ton. Solid and liquid sulfur in North China will be raised by RMB 20/ton. The price of solid sulfur in Shandong is raised by RMB 20-30/ton, and the price of liquid sulfur by RMB 20/ton. In this month, sulfur also experienced 3 rounds of rising, with a cumulative increase of 170 CNY/ton.
03
Ethylene oxide rises for 3 consecutive times, generally rising by 600 yuan
On August 25, ethylene oxide rose by 200 CNY/ton across the country, of which the ex-factory price including tax in the mainstream areas of East China was 7,200 CNY/ton. This is the third price increase after the national general increase of 200 CNY/ton on the 21st and the national general increase of 200 CNY/ton on the 18th. Ethylene oxide has achieved three consecutive rises in 8 days-the national general rise is 600 yuan, and some regions have also increased to varying degrees according to regional conditions.
According to industry insiders, the next march is up and tight, with active trading and good demand. The factory overhaul plan and the impact of Far East Union's breakdown parking have also played a certain role. Superimposed ethylene oxide is a direct downstream of ethylene and is more directly affected by the increase in crude oil prices.
04
TDI rose for 3 consecutive weeks, an increase of nearly 3,200 CNY/ton
Since August, TDI has increased its prices for three consecutive weeks, and Covestro and BASF have successively increased their quotations. Good news has been continuously released, which has pushed up the price of TDI. At present, TDI has risen from RMB 11,166/ton on August 1 to RMB 14,333/ton on August 24, an increase of nearly RMB 3,200/ton. Analysts predict that domestic TDI prices are still dominated by strong operations, and the upward trend is still going on. However, as factory news decreases, TDI quotations temporarily stabilize.
05
EVA increased by 400 CNY/ton
Hurricanes and tropical storms have reduced U.S. oil and gas production and international oil prices have rebounded. The price of EVA has risen partly, and the ex-factory prices of manufacturers continue to increase. However, terminal demand is weak and market trading is limited. The EVA market may mainly digest the increase. The tight spot situation of some imported materials is difficult to change, and the market quotation is pushed up. On the 25th, the price of Formosa Plastics 7350M increased by 200 CNY/ton, the price of Ningbo Formosa Plastics 7470K increased by 250 CNY/ton, and the price of Yangzi BASF 6110M increased by 100 CNY/ton. , Hanwha 2518 prices rose by 400 CNY/ton.
Through the information of rising prices, it is not difficult to see that the recovery of international crude oil has led to a straight rise in domestic refined oil products and the increase in the cost of refueling and car maintenance. It also means a collective rise in raw materials in the chemical industry. The first is the chemical products in the crude oil industry chain. For example, benzene, olefins, trienes, triphenyls and other general-purpose chemicals are biased towards cost pricing mechanisms, so the anchor for pricing is often crude oil prices.
According to industry analysts, in the near term, oil prices may continue to consolidate at a high level. On the one hand, under the influence of the Gulf of Mexico hurricane, the impact of the shutdown of oil installations has reduced supply, and the decline in inventories for several consecutive weeks has also supported the current relative High oil prices. It is foreseeable that in the short term, not only chemicals in the petroleum industry chain, but some chemicals, plastics, and even products related to people's food, clothing, housing, and transportation will be affected, and prices will rise.
