Shiseido's classic products usher in an update again
Shiseido first launched the lotion "Red Honeydew" in 1897. This lotion has a history of more than 120 years, and it will be upgraded again in 2023.
The new "Red Honeydew" launched on March 1 this year is the eighth version since it was launched in 1897, and it has been 26 years since the last upgrade.
The new version of "Red Honeydew" retains the design of the classic red bottle, and is the first cosmetic in the world to adopt the replacement container "LiquiForm®".
This is a technology developed mainly by AMCOR, and based on this technology, Yoshino Industries and Shiseido have jointly developed a replaceable container. The 2-unit structure package of the main container and the refill container reduces the amount of plastic waste after use by 92% by reusing the main container.
The packaging of the new "Red Honeydew" is both aesthetically conscious and sustainable in the cosmetics of the future.
