Rong Chang Bio: A new clinical development of ADC drug RC88 combined with Triprilimab
Rongchang Biopharmaceutical recently announced that the open, multi-center phase I/IIa clinical study on the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetic characteristics and efficacy of RC88 injection combined with triprilimab injection in patients with advanced malignant solid tumor was officially approved by the Drug Review Center of the State Food and Drug Administration.
This is an open, multicenter Phase I /IIa clinical study led by Professor Yuankai Shi from the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences to evaluate the safety, tolerability, PK characteristics, immunogenicity and initial efficacy of RC88 combined with tririprimab injection in patients with advanced solid tumors.
RC88 is a novel mesenchymal (MSLN) targeting ADC that uses the company's own innovative bridging technology to connect antibodies and drugs. The structure includes MslN-targeting antibodies, lysable linkers, and small molecule cytotoxin (MMAE), which can mediate the entosis of antibodies by targeting and binding to MslN-positive tumor cells. In this way, cytotoxin can be transferred to cancer cells effectively, and better tumor killing effect can be achieved. Currently, phase I/lla clinical studies are underway in patients with advanced malignant solid tumors.
