Customs data: China's lysine and other exports increased in October
According to customs statistics, in October 2020, China’s exports of lysine and lysine salts and esters were 67,000 tons, an increase of 36.4% year-on-year and 6.7% month-on-month. In September, the average export price of lysine in China was US$910/ton, a year-on-year increase of 8.43%. In the past two years, domestic lysine expansion capacity has been released, and the price of lysine has been operating at a low level. From January to October 2020, China's lysine exports to Europe, Asia, Africa and some countries in the Americas have maintained high growth. The top ten countries are the Netherlands, the United States, Germany, Thailand, Poland, Vietnam, Canada, Lithuania and the Russian Federation , my country’s exports to the top ten countries accounted for half of the total exports. From January to October 2020, China exported a total of 652,000 tons of lysine salts and esters, of which exports to the Netherlands were the highest, followed by Germany.
According to customs statistics, in October 2020, China imported 19,800 tons of solid methionine products, a month-on-month decrease of 2,916 tons, a decrease of 13% and a year-on-year decrease of 31%. In October 2020, my country imported 15,400 tons from Evonik, 321 tons from Sumitomo, and 2,627 tons from CJ. From January to October 2020, my country's methionine imports totaled 168,700 tons, and the top three countries for imports are Singapore, Belgium, and Malaysia. Imports from Singapore accounted for the highest proportion, followed by Belgium and Malaysia. In October 2020, my country's methionine imports were 37.21 million US dollars, down 31.5% year-on-year. The unit price of imports was 1.88 yuan/kg, a year-on-year decrease of 0.5%.
According to customs statistics, in October 2020, China exported 47,900 tons of threonine products, a year-on-year increase of 10,600 tons, a month-on-month increase of 3,359 tons, an increase of 8.1%, and a year-on-year increase of 28.5%. From January to October 2020, my country exported 475,400 tons of threonine. In October 2020, the unit price of my country's threonine export was 1,440 US dollars/ton, an increase of 9.9% year-on-year. The export value was 68.93 million US dollars, an increase of 40.9% year-on-year. From January to October 2020, my country's export volume to Europe, Asia, Africa and other regions remained high. The main exporting countries were Brazil, the Netherlands, Belgium, the United States, the Russian Federation, Spain, Thailand, Vietnam, Canada, India, and the Philippines.
