Saraswati Group and Gawen collaborate to launch New insecticide SA-IMIDAN(50% imine sulfophos) in India

India's Saraswati Group, through its Saraswati Agro Life Science unit, has launched SA-IMIDAN (50% iminoxion), a new insecticide for the Indian market, in collaboration with global agrochemical company Gowan. Iminathion is an organophosphorus insecticide that has been used to control pests on ornamental plants and crops (including alfalfa, fruits and vegetables).

SA-IMIDAN is a broad-spectrum, environmentally friendly and biosafe insecticide. This product helps farmers maintain maximum crop yields on peppers, cotton and rice. It can control aphids, thrips, fruit borer, leafhoppers, aphids, whiteflies, bollworm, borers (rice borer) and leaf rolling borer (rice leaf rolling borer).

Saraswati Group initially grew through pesticide formulations in Punjab, India, promoting high-tech formulation products and working with large multinational companies such as Bayer and Aventis to lay a solid foundation for quality and safety.

Founded in 2019-2020, Saraswati Agro Life Science launches agrochemicals under its corporate brand, SALS, and is committed to active site visits and research before launching new products. The company's goal is to develop innovative cultivation methods that improve soil quality and contribute to sustainable development. SALS has prompted the group to make progress in the agricultural sector, with nearly 30 own-brand plant protection products, a number that will increase to more than 40 by the end of 2023.
