Stepan acquires INVISTA's aromatic polyester polyol business
On January 29, Stepan announced that it had acquired Invista's aromatic polyester polyol business and related assets.
The transaction includes two production sites, located in Wilmington, North Carolina, USA and Vlissingen, the Netherlands, as well as related intellectual property rights, customer relations, inventory and working capital.
The global sales of the acquired business are approximately US$100 million. The acquisition is in the form of cash and is expected to increase Stepan’s EBITDA.
