Koppert has formed a strategic alliance with PI Industries in India to jointly innovate in the field of biologics
Koppert and PI Industries of India have recently signed a strategic alliance agreement to advance the sustainable development of agricultural production and work together to innovate in the field of agricultural biologics.
As global agricultural production faces the challenges posed by climate change, dwindling resources and increasing food demand, switching to environmentally friendly and sustainable crop and soil protection programmes is critical. Leveraging their respective expertise, resources and shared vision, the two companies will protect crops, improve soils and promote sustainable solutions for Indian agriculture by introducing cutting-edge solutions.
″Commenting on the partnership, Mayank Singhal, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of PI Industries, said: "We are delighted to sign this agreement in the presence of (Have left office) Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte. Given the urgent need to ensure food security, joint development of bioproduct portfolios is critical. This focus on sustainable agricultural development and practices leverages the aspirations and expectations of the global industry.
″Commenting on the development, Henri Oosthoek, member of the Koppert Advisory Board, said: "Biocontrol is at the forefront of leading changes in agriculture. By harnessing the power of nature and science, the two companies work together to advance sustainable agriculture that ensures more resilient crops, healthier soils and a safer environment.
