UPL sets up wholly-owned subsidiary in Sri Lanka to provide end-to-end biological solutions
On October 2, UPL established a wholly owned subsidiary in Sri Lanka, namely UPL Lanka Bio (Private). UPL Lanka Bio is a wholly owned subsidiary of UPL Mauritius.
According to UPL, the company was established to drive sustainable agriculture, enable transformational growth through technology integration, accelerate the innovation engine, provide farmers with end-to-end biological solutions and collaborate across the whole food value chain.
UPL is a global player in crop protection products with a customer base in 123 countries. It has subsidiaries in Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Canada, Denmark, Indonesia, France, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Mauritius, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, South Africa, the United States, the United Kingdom, Vietnam and Zambia.
