Glyphosate has been approved for review in the EU again

On November 29, the European Union issued a formal announcement announcing that based on the EU pesticide REGULATION (EC) No 1107/2009, Glyphosate was officially re-evaluated and the approval period was extended by 10 years, which will take effect on December 16, 2023. At this point, the Glyphosate review has finally come to a successful end.
The updated approval for Glyphosate is valid from December 16, 2023 to December 15, 2033.
The announcement clearly specifies the specifications of Glyphosate after the re-review:
Active substance:
Glyphosate≥950g/kg
Related impurities:
N-nitroso-glyphosate,NNG <1mg/kg
Formaldehyde <1g/kg
Triethylamine ≤2g/kg
Formic acid ≤ 4g/kg
N,N-bis(phosphonomethyl)glycine,glyphosine≤3g/kg
After a series of ups and downs and challenges, glyphosate re-review in the European Union finally achieved results, although the winter of 2023 has arrived, but Glyphosate finally ushered in the spring breeze after the bumpy.
