Evonik Launches Phosphate Methacrylate Visiomer Hema-P 100
Recently, Evonik launched Visiomer Hema-P 100 on the market, a non-migratory phosphate methacrylate monomer with long-lasting effects.
HEMA-P is introduced through polymerization to provide transparent flame retardancy, improve adhesion and reduce corrosion. It is an effective adhesion promoter and preservative.
Visiomer Hema-P, which improves dispersion and acts as a complexing agent, stands out for its high monoester content, helping to ensure optimal performance.
Visiomer Hema-P is versatile and can be used as a monomer in emulsion and solution polymers, vinyl ester and unsaturated polyester composites, acrylic adhesives, acrylic waterproofing resins and cast PMMA.
Applications include wood, textile and paper coatings, direct to metal (DTM) coatings, structural adhesives, waterproofing roofs and parking decks, and architectural cast PMMA.
