Voyager Interest Acquires Aegion Coating Services
Voyager Interests private equity firm has acquired Aegion Coating Services (ACS) from Aegion Voyager. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
Founded in 1979, ACS is a global leader in joint coating services, using proprietary robotic tools to apply protective coatings to exterior and interior portions of pipelines serving drinking water, salt water, natural gas and crude oil. The company serves the Middle East, South America, Asia and other regions.
Voyager partner Robert Trainer said, Voyager is impressed by ACS's more than 300 employees, technology, market reputation and global influence. And welcome them to join the Voyager family and believe they will achieve new heights of success together. ACS has a proven record of excellence in the industry for over 40 years. He believes Voyager's resources and relationships can help drive ACS management's growth plans.
Bryan Kirchmer, President of ACS, said that this cooperation with Voyager opens a new chapter for ACS, where both parties can obtain capital and growth, and can provide enhanced services to customers.
"On behalf of Aegion, I would like to thank the ACS team for their hard work and dedication over the years," said Aegion President and CEO Rob Tullman. "I believe our partnership with Voyager will benefit ACS in the long term."
