L'Oréal Canada Expands with ICON
L'Oréal Canada announced that its subsidiary SalonCentric Canada will acquire the business of ICON SALON SYSTEMS, a privately held full-service distributor based in British Columbia (BC).
The acquisition marks SalonCentric Canada's strategic expansion into British Columbia. Known for its significant presence in the region, ICON operates seven specialty stores, employs 12 sales representatives, and has a further 41 employees.
"L'Oréal Canada Professional remains committed to serving our 100,000 stylists across the country in the best way possible," said An Verhulst-Santos, President and CEO of L’Oréal Canada. "Following the successful launch of SalonCentric Canada in Ontario last year, expansion in British Columbia will allow us to meet the evolving needs of all stylists and become the industry’s ultimate destination for the best products and services."
