L'Oréal to Invest $80 Million in Mexico Factory Expansion
L'Oréal will invest over $80 million in Mexico by 2026 to expand production at its San Luis Potosí and Mexico City factories.
Mexico is one of L'Oréal's top ten markets, with a market value of 280 billion Mexican pesos in 2024. The San Luis Potosí factory exports 70% of its production, primarily to the United States, while the Xochimilco factory serves the domestic market and parts of Latin America. The company employs 2,800 people in Mexico and supports thousands more through partnerships with beauty salons and dermatologists.
This investment strengthens L'Oréal's supply chain and positions Mexico as a growth engine and export hub in the Americas.
