Tetramycin WDG was developed successfully in China

 Recently, the Institute of Functional Molecules of Shenyang University of Chemical Technology successfully prepared 1.5% Tetramycin WDG.

By detecting the technical indicators of the WDG, the researchers screened the types and dosage of the carrier, wetting dispersant and disintegrant, and optimized the process conditions such as the amount of water added, drying time and drying temperature, and obtained the optimized formula as follows: Tetramycin TK 15%(mass fraction, the same below), gerogon T/36 6%, gerogon L-WET/P 10%, Ammonium sulfate 6%, diatomite1 up to 100%.

The optimum process conditions: water added 27%, drying time 1 h, drying temperature 50℃. The formulation of Tetramycin WDG has stable performance and green environmental protection. The stability of cold and hot storage has been tested, and all indexes are in line with the quality technical standard of WDG.

As of the end of 2023, there are 9 Tetramycin formulation effectively registered in China, all of which are liquid formulations, including 6 SL (AS), 2 SC, and 1 ME.
