Sun Chemical launches Xennia Jade pigmented inks for direct film market
Sun Chemical launches Xennia Jade, a pigment ink that addresses growing demand in the direct-to-film (DTF) market. Designed to address key challenges faced by DTF users in this market, the solution provides high-quality, stable and reliable ink kits for seamless daily, weekly and monthly production.
Xennia Jade will be on display at FESPA in the Netherlands from March 19 to 22, 2024, allowing industry professionals to experience first-hand its capabilities, making it ideal for the evolving needs of the DTF market.
The DTF market has experienced unprecedented growth over the past two years, highlighting the need for innovative solutions where existing industry solutions present several challenges in terms of reliability and performance. Recognizing the importance of consistent performance, Sun Chemical invests significant time and resources in developing custom, comprehensive solutions.
Underscoring Sun Chemical's commitment to improving print quality and user experience, Xennia Jade White is a product improvement that delivers high opacity inks and reduced maintenance requirements. When combined with the High Color Intensity CMYK Kit, users benefit from optimal application performance, enabling printing on a variety of color substrates, including black shirts. Xennia Jade can be used with commercially available resin powders, but the Xennia Jade range also includes a powder binder for optimal application and wear resistance. Xennia Jade can also be used on a range of non-textile substrates, demonstrating its potential for use in a variety of industries.
Edri Baggi, Business Manager, Textile Inks, Sun Chemical commented:"With the launch of Xennia Jade, we have taken a meticulous approach and invested time to ensure the high quality and reliability of our inks. Our interactions with customers play a key role in helping us create new pigment inks. We had meaningful conversations to understand their specific needs and technical pain points, as well as sustainability and security considerations. The result is a carefully designed solution that solves as many of these problems as possible, taking the application space to new heights."
